Profile: Michael Laws
Michael is one of the country's few media/political/public personalities with exceptional achievements in each field. A celebrated writer, Michael has also been a TV and radio host, a reality TV star, a #1 best-selling author, an award-winning newspaper columnist - plus a mayor, a Member of Parliament and a district health board member.
In other words, the scope of his public relations, publishing and writing expertise is remarkable. It is an experience and advocacy available to you.
He has a First Class Honours degree from Otago University, and a Masters in Creative Writing from the prestigious Manhire class at Victoria University to complement his numerous media roles. He was also widely credited as one of the country's premier political operators and has run multi-million dollar political/promotional campaigns with staggering and successful results.
Michael is also a Dad to five children – three of school age – so understands the personal and human dynamics of modern living.
Profile: Cheryl Kloogh
Cheryl is a business and finance director with over 25 years experience, and has performed financial, event management and promotional roles in both New Zealand and the UK.
She has hands-on experience in project design and implementation, with a fine eye for detail. Her sales and small business expertise is invaluable to The Message – it allows us to see the world through practical eyes and design public relations solutions that both work and are affordable.
Cheryl has almost thirty years experience of the region and loves Central - hence her decision to relocate herself and her business here.
She has two adult children (and two beloved Jack Russells) and enjoys Pilates, gardening and musical theatre.
